The Tannheimer Valley’s family skiing areas offer some wonderful downhill skiing ! 1050 m to 1800 m – the free skiing bus takes you from the hotel to the Krinnenalpe, Füssener Jöchl, Neunerköpfl, Wannenjoch runs and to the Rohnenlifts. Ideal for cross-country skiers – the 70 km classically prepared cross-country valley run starts at the hotel. Pistes - downhill skiing: Two 8-seater gondola cableways and 19 lifts transport the alpine skiers from the Tannheimer Valley’s flat beginners’ slope all the way to the 1850 m high demanding world cup slope pistes. All in all, 37 kilometres of downhill slopes and a skiing circus accelerate skiers’ heartbeats in the Tannheimer Valley. Snowboarding as well as alpine skiing is also possible at all the valley’s lifts. And freaks have great fun in the Half-pipe of the Nesselwängler boarding paradise. Snowmaking plants, inconspicuously integrated in the landscape, guarantee constant skiing in the entire valley until the season ends. Many ski huts provide hearty intermediate sustenance and for stylish après-ski. Six state-of-the-art skiing schools in the Tannheimer Valley are equally dedicated to beginners and perfectionists, offering professionally trained staff. A modern chip card system for all lifts throughout the valley an also in neighbouring areas eliminates the annoying search for your skiing pass at gondolas and lifts and extends the Tannheimer Valley’s skiing offer. At the same time, the chip card can be used for the swimming pools in Reutte, Pfronten and Nesselwang as well as the ice stadium in Pfronten. A ski bus transports skiers comfortably and at a reasonable fee to the mountain railway and returns them in the evening. The ski bus is free with the ski pass.
