Amidst a world of enchanting mountains ...
Hiking, as a new "way of walking" to reduce stress, keeps you fit and healthy and is pure enjoyment of nature. A hiking- and mountain vacation addresses all the senses and has the effect of a true "refreshment cure". |

| Cross-country ski tracks: | 80 kilometres in total, with an own skating route through the romantic winter landscape of the snowy Tannheimer Valley, ultimately reaching the neighbouring Allgäu. Cross-country skiers truly get their money’s worth in "Europe’s most beautiful high valley", silently gliding through the winter forest covered in deep snow, across the frozen Haldensee and the snowy pastures, passing the little, cosy villages along the way.
On Shank’s pony through the snow: those who think only summer is for "hiking" will be amazed when experiencing the first winter-hiking-wonder in the Tannheimer Valley. There is so much to explore and discover along the approximately 50 kilometres of cleared hiking trails in the valley, so much fresh air to fuel up on, making each step total enjoyment – and the inns and cafés along the way provide sustenance and warmth. |

NEW !!! The toboggan tracks "Adlerhorst" - Laternd´l Hof (2 km), Nesselwängle/Krinnenalpe - Talstation
(3.5 km) and the Tennenberg lift (600 m, floodlit at night) make toboggan hearts beat faster. The call echoes down before the daredevil winter sportsman jets down the slope on his toboggan... Super fun for big and small. And the Tannheimer Valley even has five more offers. Directly at the Haldensee 600 metres downhill across the "Mösle". At the "Tennenberg" in Nesselwängle, another 600 (floodlit!) toboggan metres await you. The longest track is on the "Adlerhorst" in Haller: you can toboggan down 2000 m between 14:00 to 17:00. In Schattwald on the "Wies", the 500 metre track at the "Unteren Stuiben", is available daily after the lifts close down (approx. 16:30). The "Alte Gaichtpaß" with a 350 metre track (separate ascent from Weißenbach) is floodlit on Wednesday and Friday evenings; at the finish, a glühwein booth provides the necessary toboggan heat.
Real winter is incomplete without skates, as is hot chocolate without cream. Round and round with trailing shawl, alone, in twos or in a group, a few steps back, a spin or even a pirouette – time will fly. In-between, a glühwein at the side, before throwing yourself into the fray again. The two natural ice tracks at the Vilsalpsee and the Haldensee are something really special.
Under the open sky, in the foothills of an exquisite mountain backdrop, skating is even more special. Floodlit Wednesdays are particularly romantic (open daily from 10:00). Additional opportunities for blade fans: the ice skating hall inside the Tannheim tourism association (daily 10:00 to 22:00). You can hire skates here and at the Haldensee.
